AAAHW’s student clinic provides opportunities for its students to complete their clinical internship requirements for AAHW’s Master in Acupuncture (M.Ac), Master in Acupuncture with Chinese Herbal Specialization, Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (DAOM).
Patients receive treatment from 3rd- and 4th-year interns, Doctorate interns, and recent graduates. Treatments may include acupuncture, cupping, herbal medicine, Tuina massage, moxibustion, dietary recommendations, and even Qi Gong.
All of our clinic interns are under close supervision by our experienced and licensed clinical faculty, which allows our interns to practice acupuncture & Oriental medicine to address a wide variety of common and difficult health conditions. Most acupuncture treatments last about an hour. In return for helping students gain valuable first-hand experience, you will receive safe, effective, high-quality treatment at a reduced rate.
Treatments from interns are $40 per acupuncture session.
Extern, Recent graduate, or DAOM intern pricing is generally $50 per session, still far less than you would pay at quality acupuncture offices.
Herbal prescriptions, if applicable, are additional and range from $15 to $40 weekly, whether they are pills/capsules or raw ingredients, respectively.
